THESE ARE MY NAILS. hey, just going to tell you all a little story! most of you don’t know this about me. when i was 1 i was in a little accident that resulted in me losing part of my finger. i had my fingers in the hinge of a door and the door was shut on my pinky my sister was the one who shut the door (yes i still use this against her in arguments) no hard feelings tho it was a complete accident! i was taken in an ambulance to harrogate hospital and when we got there they turned around and said we had to go to leeds and that there was nothing they could do here. by the time we got to leeds the window of time to save it had closed. so that left me with what you see in the first picture in the second slide you can see the bandage that i had to wear and how tiny i was when it happened! i have a teeny little nail on there (no it’s not bone) it doesn’t hurt and i still have all feeling in it. when i started my college course i was so nervous for the other girls and my tutor to find out i thought it might scare them or gross them out but the girls were all absolutely fine about it on the other hand my tutor made what i hope was a joke about it and asked why i haven’t bought a prosthetic for it. attending the homeofnailart event last weekend and having a slightly drunk conversation with morgan and mike from the hona team has changed my whole perspective. when mike asked if i had done the nail art on my other hand i was so nervous to show my other nails. both mike and morgan made me feel so comfortable talking about it to them and reminded me that there could be a client out there that has something similar and is reluctant to get there nails done because of it so it is good to show that i understand and that my salon space is a welcoming space to hands and fingers all shapes and sizes! using homeofnailart PureFoundation and Sunset Ridge from the new rodeo nights collection 🏜️ thank you all for taking the time to read💅🏻🫶🏻
