Founders Michael and Charlotte faced unexpected career halts; Michael's role in marketing ended abruptly, and Charlotte's salon was forced to close. This pivotal moment led to the birth of HONA - a venture born from necessity, resilience, and the couple's combined expertise.

With no income, the duo were forced to pivot. Charlotte, a professional nail technician, began creating press-on nails for clients who still craved beauty in isolation. Michael, tapping into his business acumen, sourced materials and crafted unique nail art decals. This collaborative effort laid the foundation for HONA. What started with a simple pink donut decal soon evolved into a diverse range of nail art products, marking HONA's first steps into the nail care industry.
